Situación Inglesa...

Mucho se comenta sobre la situación en distintos países respecto de la prohibición de fumar en reuniones cuasi privadas pero hasta el momento no mucho se sabía. Hoy recibí a través de la lista de correos del Pipa Club San Luis Potosí del Sr. Jean Marie Laurent el siguiente texto.

Alguien (no me rucuerdo el nombre ni la lista) habia hablado de la ley antitabaco en Inglaterra.
He pregunatado a Keith Garrard, secretario del Norfolk Pipa Club, en Norwich (al este de Londres) :

Hello Keith,

We haven't been in touch for a long time, but I'm contacting you now about an important matter.
I heard that the English anti-smoking law would prohibit the organisation of slow pipe smoking contests.
Is this true? Can you still meet within your clubs?

Nice to hear from you. It is true, we can no longer hold our contests. So there will be no more British or Norfolk championships, we still hold our small club contests in a converted garage. There seems no way round this horrible law.
